Biography

Zhang Puming is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. Her primary research interest is medical information processing. Her lab studies focus on the epilepsy brain network, using EEG, fMRI, PET, DTI, etc. She is supported by many research agencies including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai.

Dr. Zhang Puming received her bachelor's degree of Automation in Industry from Zhejiang University in 1997, and Ph.D. degree of Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2002. She conducted post-doctoral research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2002-2003) before joining the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2004 as an Associate Professor. She is the Deputy secretary-general of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering Committee, Chinese Association of Automation, and she is the Deputy secretary-general of Medical Information Professional Committee, Shanghai Society of Biomedical Engineering.
