Biography

Tuan Liu received his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 6/2015. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 12/2015 to 11/2018 and as a Staff Scientist from 12/2018 to 11/2020 at Washington State University (WSU). He is now an Assistant Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has been working on the synthesis and application of polymer materials for over 10 years. To data, he has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers, applied over 10 patents, and 6 patents have been granted. Dr. Liu’s current research interests include biodegradable polymers, self-healing polymers, 3D printing, and hydrogel.
