To prepare our students to become the future leaders in BME with strong social responsibility and intellectual intensity required to meet the new challenges of our society is at the core of our education program. Our BME program is among the first to be classified into the top tier programs by the Ministry of Education and has received many accolades, including the National Teaching Achievement Award (2nd place). In various national competitions, our students have received top prizes, such as the gold prize in “Creative Youth” (2016), the grand prize in “Challenge Cup” (2019) and the gold prize in “Internet+” (2019).   

To compete at an international level, our students are encouraged to register in different dual degree programs or short exchanges. These include the popular programs jointly managed with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Heidelberg University (Germany) and Northwestern University (US). Furthermore, our undergraduate program has been certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), which accredits college and university programs in the disciplines of applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology to ensure the quality standards are met for  graduates enter-ing a global workforce. Our program is the first BME program in China certified by ABET, demonstrating its quality and international standard.
