On November 18, 2020, the 2020 Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical Engineering (Science) Interdisciplinary Graduate Academic Forum and the "Boji Medical Source" Graduate Academic Forum were successfully held on the Xuhui campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Nearly 200 experts, scholars, teachers and students passed the line Participated in this forum in the field and online in the cloud. The forum is hosted by the Graduate School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and jointly organized by the School of Biomedical Engineering and the School of Medicine. The theme is medical robotics and biomedical photonics. This forum includes expert reports, tutor salons, student reports, and poster exchanges. It aims to build a platform for interdisciplinary academic exchanges, share academic achievements, encourage academic innovation, promote academic cooperation, and jointly explore new paths for interdisciplinary talent training.

The awards ceremony and closing ceremony of the forum were held in the N100 meeting room of the new upper house. After the review, Ouyang Xi, Jiang Chenyu, and Zhang Qian won the first prize of the oral report of this forum for their outstanding academic achievements and wonderful report performance. Many other students received multiple awards for oral presentations and poster presentations. Mei Wenhan, deputy dean of the Graduate School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Ye Jian, deputy dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering, and Chen Weidong, executive vice president of the Institute of Medical Robotics of Shanghai Jiaotong University, attended the award ceremony and presented awards to the award-winning students as the awarding guests.
