On January 19, the establishment and opening ceremony of the School of Biomedical Engineering branch of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Student Innovation Center was successfully held in Med-X Research Institute of Xuhui Campus. Xu Xuemin, Xiong Zhenhua, Ren Qifei, Jia Yanning from Student Innovation Center, Le Jinwei from Innovation Planning Department, Chen Jiangping, Meng Xiangqi, Bai Jingfeng, Ye Jian from School of Biomedical Engineering attended the event. Bai Jingfeng presided over the ceremony.

Chen Jiangping first expressed his sincere welcome to the leaders and teachers who attended the opening ceremony. He introduced the development history of the School of Biomedical Engineering and the preparation of the joint construction.

Xiong Zhenhua expressed warm congratulations on the establishment of the branch center of the School of Biomedical Engineering and introduced the construction content of the branch center.

Qi Fei wished to carry out more exchanges and cooperation based on the construction of the branch center.

At the ceremony, the appointment letter was awarded to the 24th session of Shanghai Jiao Tong University College Student Innovation Practice Program instructors.

Xu Xuemin made a concluding speech, expressing warm congratulations to the establishment of the Biomedical Engineering branch of the Student Innovation Center, and placing high expectations on the cooperation between the student Innovation Center and the School of Biomedical Engineering.

Finally, Xu Xuemin, Chen Jiangping, Xiong Zhenhua and Qi Fei jointly inaugurated the establishment of the Medical and Biological Engineering branch of the Student Innovation Center.
