On September 21, the opening ceremony and admission education for the 2022 freshmen of the School of Biomedical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was successfully held online. Jiangping Chen, Xuejun Jin, Hongchen Gu, Jingfeng Bai, Jianqi Sun, Jian Ye, Shenshen Zhou, educational teachers and all the 2022 freshmen attended the meeting. The ceremony was presided over by Meng Xiangqi.

At the beginning of the conference, President Jin Xuejun delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, expressing his hopes and wishes for the Class of 2022.

Yuxuan Liu , a representative of the freshmen, shared his growing experience in Jiaotong University and expressed his commitment to academic research.

Song Ping, as the representative of the freshman class teacher, shared her experience and story with the students.

At the end of the ceremony, Secretary Jiangping Chen taught the freshmen "Secretary First lesson". Chen began with the centennial struggle of the Communist Party of China, calling on freshmen to remember the mission, have the courage to take responsibility. He emphasized that students should be honest in life, work, learning, in the study of Jiao Tong University to form a love of life attitude, strive to move forward and see our dreams come true.

The entrance education was hosted by Zhonghao Zheng. He briefly explained the importance of this entrance education, where each section will be of great help to students' future study and life in Shanghai Jiaotong University.

Huihui Zhong shared with the students the rich collection resources and various intimate services, made the students familiar with the content through detailed operation and teaching.

Jian Ye introduced the training process to all the new graduate students, covering the course construction, academic ethics, training process, degree application, characteristic training and other aspects.

Finally, Xiang Gu emphasized laboratory access and laboratory operation safety, reminding students to always pay attention to safety.
