On June 20th, the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony for the Class of 2023 were successfully held at the School of Biomedical Engineering. Attendees included Chen Jiangping, the Party Secretary of the School of Biomedical Engineering, Jin Xuejun, the Executive Vice Dean, Gu Hongchen, Vice Dean, Bai Jingfeng, Vice Dean, Zhou Shenshen, Vice Secretary, Meng Xiangqi, Vice Secretary, faculty representatives, and graduating students. In order to strengthen the connection with the graduates after they leave the campus, the ceremony invited alumni representatives from our institute: Ning Yihua, Chairman of Suzhou Jingyu Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., and member of the Alumni Association Medical Equipment Branch of the institute from the class of 1987; Lin Xiaojie, Deputy General Manager of BODOMED Medical and Secretary of the Alumni Association Medical Equipment Branch from the class of 2015; Li Hangdao, Senior Manager at CICC Investment Bank and Deputy Secretary of the Alumni Association Medical Equipment Branch from the class of 2018. They had a friendly communication with the graduates as alumni representatives. Bai Jingfeng presided over the ceremony.

The ceremony began with an exciting degree awarding ceremony, during which Vice Dean Bai Jingfeng announced the list of degree recipients. Faculty representatives, including Chen Jiangping, Jin Xuejun, Gu Hongchen, and Lin Guanning, awarded the degrees and moved the tassels for the graduating students.

Among the Class of 2023, there emerged a group of outstanding graduates who have made remarkable achievements in academic research and social service. Meng Xiangqi announced the list of outstanding graduates.

Zhou Shenshen and Lin Xiaojie presented awards to the outstanding graduates from Shanghai and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Representing the Class of 2023 undergraduate students, Luo Zhe Wen delivered a speech.

Ning Yihua presented a letter of appointment as a class director to the undergraduate students of the Class of 2023. Ning Yihua, an alumnus from the class of 1987, shared heartfelt words of encouragement and advice with his classmates.

Finally, Chen Jiangping made a concluding speech.
