March 19, 2024 - The 2023 Graduate Innovation and Practice Competition's summary and award ceremony were recently held at Chen Ruiqiu Building, Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prof. Qian Xiaohua was honored as the Outstanding Supervising Teacher of the 2023 Graduate Innovation and Practice Competition, while his student Guo Rui was awarded the title of "Innovation Star" of Shanghai Jiao Tong University's graduate program for 2023. 

The project focuses on developing an intelligent diagnostic and assessment system for Parkinson's disease using artificial intelligence technology. By utilizing consumer-grade cameras (such as smartphones), this system aims to automate quantitative scoring of Parkinson's severity, facilitating remote diagnosis, treatment evaluation, and rehabilitation monitoring. Ultimately, this project will benefit Parkinson's patients by providing mobile management solutions and better access to healthcare services.
