On the morning of December 16, the Biophotonics Seminar was held in the E200 conference room of the Institute of Medical Robotics. This seminar was co-hosted by Professor Ye Jian and Associate Professor Wu Chongchao of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and was conducted simultaneously online and offline.

The guests of the seminar included Professor Shi Wei from Xi'an University of Technology, Professor Yi Lilin and Associate Professor Wu Chongchao from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Xiao Tiqiao from the Shanghai Institute for Advanced Study of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Zong Cheng from Boston University.

A major feature of this seminar is the enthusiastic participation of the student audience and the enthusiastic interaction with the speakers. The online and offline undergraduates and graduate students of the seminar come from the School of Biomedical Engineering, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, and Zhiyuan College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. After every wonderful academic report, there are enthusiastic questions, heated discussions and collisions of ideas.

After the seminar, the guests and students visited the laboratories and translational medicine building of the Institute of Medical Robotics under the leadership of Associate Professor Wu Chongchao. This seminar has effectively promoted multi-party exchanges, and teachers and students have a deeper understanding and understanding of the cutting-edge research of photonics in the field of biomedicine and the latest developments in biophotonics technology.
