On July 26, 2021, the Med-X Cross Innovation Salon, initiated by Professor Chenggong Zheng, was successfully held. Nearly 20 representatives of teachers and students in related research fields of our school attended the conference.
First of all, Dean Gao Weiqiang delivered a welcome speech, pointing out that the Med-X Research Institute has initially formed the three major construction alliances in the future with innovative detection technology for early tumor screening, new technology for tumor immunotherapy and new technology for intelligent diagnosis and treatment medical equipment, targeting the current three major diseases : The precise treatment of tumors, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and brain diseases are comprehensively deployed. Dean Gao Weiqiang hopes that experts in related fields of the college can use the salon to speak freely, cooperate closely, and use the college's good transformation and innovation platform and conditions to jointly promote the construction and development of the three alliances, so as to contribute to the development of disciplines and colleges.
Subsequently, Professor Zheng Chenggong pointed out that the relevant innovative research on "imaging, computing and system biomedical longitudinal" he is responsible for will be combined with the "new technology of intelligent diagnosis and treatment medical instruments", and at the same time and the other two major areas in terms of AI algorithm and database. The alliance cooperates. Then, Professor Chenggong Zheng gave a theme report entitled "AI Diagnosis and Treatment Technology and Innovative Transformation". He summarized the history of similar neural network research by his research team in the early 1990s. In 2008, he used the cross-analysis method of artificial intelligence, statistics and big data to further classify and treat diseases through the medical insurance database. Since 2011, relying on the rich experience in the field of FDA registration of the United States, we have helped domestic orthopedic equipment manufacturers to obtain the United States FDA medical device certification. The latest "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices" implemented in my country from June 1, 2021 optimizes the approval and filing procedures, and provides a good opportunity for innovative research and clinical transformation of teachers in our hospital. The teachers in our hospital can strengthen internal cooperation and share clinical transformation and industrialization resources.
At the meeting, teachers in related fields such as Lin Guanning, Feng Yuan, Sun Junfeng, Qian Xiaohua, Zhang Lichi, Yao Yifei introduced their research directions and existing scientific research foundations and results in turn, and put forward their own views and science in the field of intelligent diagnosis and treatment medical instrument technology. Mr. Lin Guanning introduced the "drug-disease" mechanism of action reasoning tool and intelligent dialogue system, which will fully describe the two-way action map between drugs and diseases, and realize a new type of pharmaceutical and related application solutions that integrate multiple application goals. Teacher Feng Yuan introduced the technical background and clinical application of magnetic resonance elastography (MRE). At present, the research team has applied for related patents and developments for MRE imaging, and has carried out human safety tests on about 200 livers and 100 heads. . Teacher Junfeng Sun shared the application of transcranial ultrasound stimulation. At present, the research team has developed a third-generation prototype and has passed a third-party safety test. This machine has a wide range of needs in the fields of brain science and basic neuroscience research. Based on the core medical AI algorithm, Mr. Qian Xiaohua carried out various assessments for a series of clinical problems and created a number of breakthroughs. Associate Professor Zhang Lichi shared the use of artificial intelligence to build an intelligent auxiliary diagnosis system for bone and joint magnetic resonance images, and comprehensively observe and evaluate the acquisition, calculation and analysis of knee joint images. At present, a bone and joint image big data automatic analysis platform has been established. Teacher Yao Yifei developed a smart cushion based on the background of pressure ulcers in the elderly and patients who have been sitting for a long time.
At the end of the discussion session, the participating experts had a lively discussion on the technical issues of intelligent diagnosis and treatment medical equipment. Professor Zheng Chenggong concluded that artificial intelligence diagnosis and treatment instrument technology requires a combination of five elements: A-algorithm (algorithm), B-big data (big data), C-Cloud (cloud construction), D-domain knowledge (background knowledge), E-evidence based result. In the future, both the vertical and horizontal colleges can cooperate with each other to jointly conduct innovative research and promote clinical transformation.
