Biography

Dr. Bingkun Bao is a tenure-track Assistant Professor and Ph.D. advisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on the design, fabrication, and biomedical applications of hydrogel materials. As the first or corresponding author, he has published in leading journals such as Nature Materials, Advanced Materials, Cell Discovery, and Progress in Polymer Science. He has also filed over ten Chinese/PCT patents, with seven already granted. During his postdoctoral tenure, he served as the principal investigator in various projects funded by the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program of CPSF, the Shanghai "Super Postdoc" Incentive Program, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation-Special Fund, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation-General Fund. He was awarded the Gold Prize in the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
