Dr. Yaohui Tang received his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014. After graduation, he worked as a postdoc at Max-Planck-Institute for biological cybernetics in Germany and Stanford University in U.S. In 2018 he was recruited as a tenure-track assistant professor in School of Biomedical Engineering, Med-X Research Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Tang has a broad interest in stem cell and gene-based therapy for ischemic stroke and tissue engineering. His work has been published on Stroke, JCBFM, AFM, etc, with more than 1500 citations and H-index=20. His work has been supported by national NSFC and SJTU Integration of Medical and Engineering fund.
