The center is managed through synchronization by SJTU and the Ninth People’s Hospital, and conducts specific work through projects with both sides sharing information and intellectual property rights. At present, three R&D teams have been stationed in the orbital surgery robotics, the cranio-maxillofacial osteotomy robotics and the jaw reconstruction robotics, accelerating the promotion of the hospital’s disciplinary characteristics and maturing pre-researched surgical robotics into clinical applications.
