Shanghai Children’s Hospital is a three-level of first class children’s hospital integrating medical treatment, health care, teaching, scientific research, and rehabilitation. Its predecessor was founded in 1937 by the famous pediatric expert Wenshou Fu and modern child nutrition founder Zufei Su. The Shanghai Hard Children Hospital, which was renamed Shanghai Children’s Hospital in 1953, is the first specialized children’s hospital in China. In 2003, it became the Children’s Hospital affiliated to SJTU. The clinical joint research center will focus on children’s cardiology, neonatology, gastroenterology, urology, otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery, respiratory, hematology oncology, cardiothoracic surgery in the future.
